You gotta love Lyla’s milestone session. The cake, the balloons, reaction of a one year who finally gets to taste yummy cake. What kiddo wouldn’t want cake {at least I love it}?
But not every kid loves it. In fact, some of them downright hate it. That’s where I love LOVE to capture those reactions. They’re hilarious! The scrunched up faces, the tears! Oh, the tears.
Miss Lyla, like many one-year-olds, wanted no part of her cake and she let us know. I captured every silly moment including when she pushed her cake over. I think I laughed until my sides hurt.
This little sweetheart was such a happy girl up until that moment. In fact, she was nothing but smiles. Her adorable navy and pink floral outfit commemorated her first birthday. With her sweet little pink bow and floral decorations, her session was one of my favorites. If you look really close, you can see a little tooth emerging! Despite Miss Lyla teething, she sure was a happy girl during her entire session, including her bubble bath, complete with rubber duckies and her handmade (by yours personally) flower bonnet! I just love that sweet touch for my little girls.
There isn’t anything more I enjoy than recording such a memorable moment like celebrating the end of an amazing year. This is the beginning of many more celebrations and hopefully much more cake in her future!
