1:1 Newborn Mentoring

If you're a newborn photographer just starting out or even a seasoned one that needs a little extra practice, 1:1 mentoring is the perfect way to improve your posing skills, lighting, camera angles, editing and so much more. As a newborn photographer, we're handling tiny little ones that are meant to look delicate and angelic. The poses that we do, lighting that we use, the camera that we use to capture our images all are a part of creating stunning and creative images. A single 1:1 mentoring session with me can help you achieve those skills necessary to create beautifully detailed newborn posing.

There is nothing like a hands-on experience. During my mentoring session, you'll get to work with 2-3 newborn models. The first round you'll shadow me and I'll explain my workflow and each pose in detail. Then you'll take over handling babies through each pose with me as a guide. You'll also receive my top ten posing guide workbook, along with my complete newborn business workbook filled with everything you would need to start and sustain a successful newborn photography business.

Topics covered include:

• perfecting newborn poses on the table or bean bag using my top 10 newborn poses
• getting the perfect camera angle
• utilizing the correct lighting
• a workflow that allows for multiple angles with one pose so you create a full client gallery
• styling sessions
• culling, sorting and editing images using Bridge, Adobe Camera Raw, and Photoshop
• business and IPS tips

One-day workshop :: $900 and includes a light breakfast and lunch

Two-day workshop :: $1250 and includes a light breakfast, lunch, and dinner on day one, and lunch on day two.

The studio is located within a 20-minute drive from DFW Airport and 30-minute from Dallas Love Field.
