Hannah and her family visited the studio after her daddy (which is rare) booked me to do her newborn photos. It warms my heart to see daddy’s take such interest in family photos. So I was quite delighted meeting this amazing family, that included big sister, Hailey. Hailey was so smart for being three years old, she even knew her birthday. But what was even more amazing was how great of a big sister she was to Hannah. I loved capturing these beautiful sisters together. They’ll definitely be friends for life. Mom and dad were awesome as well. Their family portrait was one of my favorite. The moment I got them all looking at Hannah was breathtaking. You could tell this family was full of love.
Hannah started out her session great and was a rock star for the first half of her session. But her mama had to come back a second time when she wouldn’t settle. That’s was fine with me. It meant to I got to spend more time with this sweet little girl. I like to get in as many snuggles as possible. It’s the best part of my job, well besides getting some beautiful images.
Hannah’s room is decorated in a beautiful palette of teal, pink and white. So I incorporated those colors in her sessions so that Mom and Dad can hang her stunning newborn photos, a moment in time that will go by so fast.
I remind mom and dad how important this time is and to relish in every moment. I even tell mama, as she’s holding her newborn girl, that in a few short weeks, so won’t fit in her arms like this anymore. So soak it in.
I’m so honored to have been chosen to capture these precious memories for this family. I look forward to seeing these girls grow for years to come.
